Changes effective: August 19th, 2025
Project Dashboard Removal
- Project Dashboard, *DST Dashboard, *OST Dashboard removed from top navigation
- URL for Project Dashboard will redirect to Project Grid, Project Dashboard will no longer be accessible
- URLs for DST and OST Dashboards will land on a “Page Not Found” page (This will be for any users that made a bookmark for those pages.)
Material List Management
- Manual Material Lists will have no reference to Design and Operations tickets, however they will still be able to be set to “Ready for Optimization” from the save dialog.
- Integrated Material Lists will be viewed on old BCML page. This will add the ability to change the status to "Ready for Optimization" from the material list view instead of needing to visit the DST page to make that change.
- BCMLs will have no links to Design and Operations tickets, however dropdown to set “Ready for Optimization” will still be available.
- Users will now have the ability to create a new BCML.
- A new entry point will be added to the Design App Top Nav
- The existing "Create Material List" button on the project attachments tab will be changed to "Create BC Material List" and will point to this new feature.
Additional References to DST and OSTs removed:
- Links to tickets from Notifications page removed
- Notification count in top nav will exclude DST/OST notifications
- When users click the red notification number, then they will be taken to the notification page where there will only be project notifications and no ticket notifications.
- References to DSTs on the user’s Profile settings page removed
- The profile setting for enabling DST/OST notifications will still be visible, however, even if the user has the notifications toggled on they won't see any notifications for DSTs/OSTs.
- Ticket records in Activity Log tab removed
- New Design Notes field on Project
- Existing notes data is migrated from the DST notes field
- Assigned Designer will be set from the BC Framer logged in user when the DST is created.
