We're all pretty partial to our personal settings in the software we use everyday! Did you know BC Framer® software comes with a great backup tool built-in?
Please note that steps discussed in this article are only the most basic operations of the DataMover application in BC Framer. In the exercises below the backups are to include *all* user settings and would overwrite the settings of the destination database when imported using the method described.
DataMover can also be used to take partial backups of very specific settings and can also migrate user pricing information.
NOTE: The methods described here will include pricing by default. There are some options around this however, shown under the Options drop-down menu:
For additional help exporting/importing data from your database, please contact the EWP Software support team.
