Many objects that can be added into a BC Framer® software model have a long list of settings that are repetitious to set up. When using Input Beam, Post, Ledger, Floor Container, Manual Connector, Joist Input (roof), even Openings, it's possible to save the specific properties of an object using "Save Property Set".
This greatly reduces the number of steps it takes to input that object in the future when the properties are configured just as you'd like, by default! The new Property Set can be easily accessed from the Quick Input tool bar.
Select to input an object that allows "Save Property Set": Beam, Post, Ledger, Floor Container, Manual Connector, Joist Input (roof), Openings. For this example we'll create a 8/12 Short tailed roof plane.
- Configure the object's properties
- Click Save Property Set
- Enter the Scheme Name and click OK:
The new scheme will now be available from the Current Scheme drop-down in the Properties grid, and in the Quick Input tool bar for one-click entry!
