You may easily add a rectangular member to a joist design. By default the only material shown for a floor joist or roof rafter is the I-Joist shape. This simplifies the consider list to products most often used. To enable rectangular members such as LVL, Glulam or dimensional, just check the box labeled "Include Rectangular Products" on the Products tab.
