New Feature Announcement: Multi-Piece Pull and Ship Configuration

Boise Cascade is excited to announce new enhancements to the Pull and Ship process, giving you more control and flexibility with multi-piece patterns.

What's New

  • Multi-Piece Patterns: Designate a pattern of several cuts as Pull and Ship, not just single boards.
  • Right-Click Command: Quickly switch boards between Cut and Pull and Ship using a new right-click menu command.
  • Unified Board List: All boards now appear together—no more separate Pull and Ship area.
  • Cut List PDF Guidance: The updated Cut List PDF provides clear, job-site-ready instructions for cutting supplied lengths into the specified pieces.
  • Batch Details Update: A new field, “Multi-Piece Pull and Shipping,” has been added to the batch details view.
    • Manual Mode: Default setting. Specify exactly which boards to convert to Pull and Ship.
    • Automatic Mode: All eligible boards are automatically set as Pull and Ship (users can change this any time).
  • Integration with Prioritize Pull and Ship: Works seamlessly with the recent “Prioritize Pull and Ship” feature to help identify single pieces well-suited for Pull and Ship.

How Does This Benefit You?

  • Streamlined Workflow: Manage all board configurations in one place.
  • Flexible Control: Choose Manual for precise control or Automatic for efficiency, while still being able to adjust settings as needed.
  • Improved On-Site Accuracy: Job sites receive clear, step-by-step cutting instructions, reducing errors and waste.
  • Optimized Planning: Easily identify the best candidates for Pull and Ship, whether single boards or multi-piece patterns.

Getting Started
