Save time by running Design Members for selected members instead of the entire project. Selectively run design on a specific member, selection of members or perhaps a level within a model.
If a single member, group or level is selected, the Design Members command will run analysis on only what is selected.

Select a Group of Members
- While pressing Ctrl on the keyboard click each member to be analyzed. Clicking the member a second time while Ctrl is still depressed, the member will be removed from the selection.
- While pressing Shift on the keyboard, click and pull a line across multiple members to be selected and analyzed.
- Ctrl + Shift can be used in combination to add multiples to an existing selection.
Note: Ctrl can be useful for deselecting anything that was added to the selection accidentally.
Select all of a Type, or a Container of Floor Framing
- By selecting a member of a type, then holding Alt while dragging a box around an area, only members of the original type selected will be effected.
- To select a container of floor framing, hold Alt and click on any-one-member within the container to select the entire container.
