A tall wall in BC Calc® software is assumed to be sheathed to provide lateral bracing to the studs. There isn't any option to add or change this consideration.
The wall is only analyzed for vertical and out-of-plane wind loading. However, if the wall is not sheathed, our analysis is invalid and non-conservative since stud buckling must be considered. In that case consult a design professional or the Boise Cascade Technical Services team.
