How can I tell if my Send to BC Calc (from BC Framer) was successful?

 

When BC Framer® software is used to Send to BC Calc® software, it will launch the Windows default application for opening .HTM (HTML Document) files. This is normally a web browser.

NOTE: For this feature to work as expected it is imperative that the browser already be open and signed into BCCalc.com or that BC Calc Offline Mode be open and running already.

This process creates a file in the temp directory (C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Local\Temp) called sendtoweb.htm.  The presence/absence of this file is one way to verify that the 'send to calc'(web) event actually worked.

Double-clicking on this file will open it in the application set to open *.HTM files. If the feature isn't working it may be that there is no default app configured for the file type.

The default for .HTM files is set in Windows Settings > Choose default apps by file type.
