Create parallel edge blocking manually. (Diaphragm Blocking)

Here is how to manually add joist blocking at the end wall in BC Framer® software.

From the Floor ribbon, select the Manually Input Accessories tool.

Follow the prompts in the bottom left of the program window. If there are multiple floor containers on this level, your first click will be to "Select a Floor Container".

Now make necessary changes to the properties:

The critical property is "Orientation". Change this to Perpendicular to create blocking "...perpendicular to the line of input".

Click points at both ends of the bay where the blocking is needed.
