Accelerated Pan/Zoom Controls in BC Framer Version 881+

BC Framer® software version 8.8.1.258 includes a number of enhancements to panning and zooming in plan view. The default setting is designed to make the system more responsive for large models with numerous imported PDF trace images.

For designers with average residential models this change may appear to draw the screen just a bit slower. It can also slow down the process of drawing walls over a raster PDF image.

This new feature also comes with the tools to change or turn the feature off. Navigate to File > Setup > Program Settings > System Performance > Pan/Zoom to set the Accelerated Pan/Zoom. There are also two hotkeys to change this without opening Program settings, and separate tweaks if you prefer a setting somewhere between on or off.

To disable hotkeys, set them both to "None", then set the Accelerated Pan/Zoom to "No".

If you don't change the hotkeys to "None" then you can easily turn the feature on without intending to.

To disable the feature completely, set them both to "None". (Then change the top setting to "No".
