Project Information Enhancement - August, 2023

Changes effective: August 15th, 2023

"Complete" or "Inactive" Projects

  • Projects with a Project Status of “Complete” or “Inactive” are filtered from the Design Work Queue.

Design Work Status Enhancements

  • Changes to a Design Service Ticket (DST) status will update the Project Design Work Status:
    • DST Status “New Ticket” or “On Deck” will set a Design Work Status of “Not Started”
    • DST Status “Waiting for Information” will set a Design Work Status of “On Hold”
    • DST Status “In Progress” will set a Design Work Status of “In Progress”
    • DST Status “Design Complete” or “Ready for Optimization” will set a Design Work Status of “Complete”
    • DST Status “Cancelled” will set a Design Work Status of “Cancelled”

  • User can update the Design Work Status at any time, regardless of the system update.
  • The most recent update to a DST status will change the project’s Design Work Status, regardless of the previous value.

Sq/ft of Framing Enhancement

  • Value is calculated by summing the Actual Square Footage value on all DST’s associated to the project.
  • Field is changed to require the user to click on the ‘pencil’ icon to make the field editable.
  • Changes to the design files tied to DSTs will overwrite edited values. The Last save wins.

Actual Design Time Enhancement

  • Value is calculated by summing the Actual Design Hours value on all DST’s associated to the project.
  • Field is changed to require the user to click on the ‘pencil’ icon to make the field editable.
  • Changes to the design files tied to DSTs will overwrite edited values. The Last save wins.

Default Project Type: "Residential"

  • A default project type of “Residential” is now set when a project is created from the Project Dashboard.
