As an improved workflow you may drag and drop model (mmdl) files directly into BC Framer® Software to get started. Bypassing the need to navigate directories through the Open File dialog can save time when the jobs folder might already be open in the Windows file explorer.
If the window is minimized:
- Click and drag the file while holding the mouse button.
- Still holding the mouse button: Hover over the task bar icon, moving the pointer to the maximized window, finally dropping the file within the UI.

Other drag and drop functionality includes the ability to start the Trace Image import process by dropping a PDF file into the BC Framer window.
